By taking part in this Get Set for Summer promotion ("Promotion") you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below (the "Rules").
1.The promoter is: Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Limited trading as Jewson whose registered office is Saint-Gobain House, East Leake, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE12 6JU (Company No. 01647362) (the "Promotor"). Promotor contact: Get Set for Summer Promotion, SGBD t/a Jewson, Merchant House, Binley Business Park, Coventry CV3 2TT (Telephone: 01509 410730 or email: email@example.com).
2.This Promotion is for:
a.existing Jewson Trade Account or Jewson Trade Cash Card Account holders on 15th March 2021 (Jewson Trade Accounts and Jewson Trade Cash Accounts shall together be referred to as the "Account(s)") ("Existing Account Holders") who receive an invitation to participate in this Promotion (the "Mailer") and who are not excluded under paragraph 4 below; and
b.new customers of the Promotor who have opened an account between 16th March 2021 and 14th May 2021 (inclusive) (a "New Customer") and who are not excluded under paragraph 4 below.
3.Following receipt of a Mailer or if you are a New Customer, to qualify to participate in the Promotion, you must register on www.Jewsonrewards.co.uk and check and confirm any pre-populated details (including ensuring an up-to-date mobile number and email address re provided (the "Contact Details")) (the "Participants").
4.Participants must be aged 18 or over. The following Account holders may not participate within this Promotion and will not be included within the definition of Participants:
a.those which have their own Jewson account manager;
b.those which benefit from a rebate scheme with the Promotor; and
c.those which are land-lorded to a Jewson Civils branch.
If there is any uncertainty as to who may be a Participant, please contact the Jewson Marketing Department at firstname.lastname@example.org whose decision shall be final and binding.
5.The Promotion starts on 15th March 2021 at 00.01am and ends on 12th June 2021 at 11.59pm inclusive, subject to branch opening hours (the "Promotional Period").
6.All orders placed via an Account shall be included within this Promotion as long as they have been delivered to site or collected by the customer within the Promotional Period (the "Orders").
7.To qualify for a Reward (as defined below), Participants are required to spend at least their Match Target (as defined in clause 8 below) on Orders (excluding VAT) during the Promotional Period. If the Match Target is not achieved during the Promotional Period, the Participant will not qualify for a Reward.
8.Target Spend is calculated based on spend by a Participant between 1st July 2020 and 31st December 2020 (the "2020 Period"). The Participant's spend during the 2020 Period will then be divided by the actual number of months when goods were actually purchased by the Participant in the 2020 Period, to create an average monthly spend (the "Average Monthly Spend"). The first target is three times the Average Monthly Spend ("Match Target"). The second target is a 10% increase on the Match Target ("Stretch Target"). Either the Match Target or the Stretch Target shall be referred to as the "Target Spend". For New Customers or where an Existing Account Holder's Average Monthly Spend multiplied by three is less than two thousand GBP (£2,000), the Match Target shall always be two thousand GBP (£2000) and the Stretch Target shall always be two thousand, two hundred GBP (£2,200). For the avoidance of doubt, a Match Target shall never be less than two thousand GBP (£2,000). Where a Participant has received a Mailer, their Match Target and Stretch Target shall be set out in that Mailer and all Participants shall be emailed their Target Spend. 9.Should a Participant meet their Target Spend, they may choose to receive either (a) a credit on their Account ("Jewson Credit") or (b) a Love2Shop e-voucher ("Voucher") as calculated in accordance with clause 10 below (the "Reward"). A Reward will only actually be made if a minimum Reward of twenty GBP (£20) has been reached.
10.Once a Participant reaches their Match Target during the Promotional Period they will earn one GBP (£1) for every one hundred GBP (£100) they spend during the Promotional Period. Once a Participant reaches their Stretch Target, they will earn two GBP (£2) for every one hundred GBP (£100) they spend above their Match Target. For example, if a Participant's Match Target is two thousand GBP (£2,000) and their Stretch Target is two thousand two hundred pounds (£2,200) and during the Promotional Period they spend (i) £2,000, they would receive a £20 Reward and (ii) £2,200, they would receive a £24 Reward.
11.If a Participant requires a refund on any spend made during the Promotional Period, the Promoter will deduct the value of the refund from the Participant's spend during the Promotional Period. If this takes the Participant's spend below their Match Target, the Participant will no longer qualify for a Reward.
12.Unless expressly notified in writing by the Promotor all Participants will only be able to achieve a maximum Reward value of £3000 regardless of Target Spend.
13.Any Jewson Credit awarded as a Reward must be used by the Participant within 12 months of the date it was awarded and used in one transaction. Jewson Credit not used within the 12-month period will expire and be removed from the Account. All Vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the date they are awarded. After 12 months the Voucher will expire.
14.Participants shall be notified by email or SMS (sent to their Contact Details) on or around 16th June 2021, if they have met their Target Spend (the "Notification"). All Rewards will be provided to the named Account Holder and the Reward shall not be transferable.
15.All Participants must validate their entry between 16th June 2021 and 30th June 2021 by following the link included in the Notification. If entries are not validated, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold any Reward.
16.Rewards shall be dispatched thirty (30) day after the end of the Promotional Period as follows:
a.All Vouchers will be emailed direct to the qualifying Participant;
b.Jewson Credit will be added to the Participant's Jewson Trade Account (as named on the Mailer) and for those Participants with a Jewson Trade Cash Card Account, a letter containing a voucher code will be sent out to the address on that Account.
17.The Promotor cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change any details related to the Promotion. No cash alternative available.
18.The Promoter reserves the right to audit all entries and to (a) disqualify any Participant in the event it believes that the Participant has contravened any of these Rules, (b) exclude any Participants if it deems them invalid against its judging criteria and (c) disqualify any Participants that are in dispute with the Promotor for any reason whatsoever.
19.The Promoter's decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
20.In the event of circumstances outside its reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the Promotion in whole or in part and without prior notice or compensation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on Participants to avoid undue disappointment.
22.Recipients of Rewards may be subject to an additional tax liability for which the Promotor accepts no liability.
23.The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will also apply to the Reward where applicable. If there is a conflict between third party terms and conditions and these Rules, these Rules shall take precedence. Love2Shop is a third party supplier and the Promotor accepts no responsibility or affiliation with Love2shop. Further terms and conditions can be found at: https://www.love2shop.co.uk/.
24.The Promoter will not be responsible for technical failures or otherwise, including any failure which is within the control of Promoter, its employees or agents.
25.In relation to this Promotion:
a.Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter's or its third party supplier's liability for death or personal injury caused by their staff or supplier's negligence or for fraud.
b.Subject to 25a, the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any fault, malfunction, damage, loss or disappointment suffered by a Participant howsoever arising from accepting any Reward whether due to any error, omission or other cause by the Promoter or its employees, agents or others.
c.Subject to 25a, the Promoter is not responsible for any damage or loss caused to a Participant (i) which is not reasonably foreseeable to the Participant and to the Promoter when the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions (which occurs automatically when the Participant participates in this Promotion) or (ii) is reasonably foreseeable to the Participant and to the Promoter when the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions but is only indirectly related to the Participant participating in this Promotion.
d.Subject to 25a, the Promoter reserves the right to amend any element of this Promotion, or foreclose this Promotion and cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver for reasons beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. The Promoter is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Participant as a result of any of these occurrences.
e.The Participant agrees to reimburse the Promoter in respect of any damages or any losses suffered by the Promoter resulting from any claim made by a third party in each case in respect of any matter arising from the Participant's participation in the Promotion in breach of these terms and conditions or from the Participant's violation of any applicable law or regulation.
f.Subject to 25a, if any details on a Participant's Account are incorrect meaning that the Promoter is unable to notify a Participant that an Reward has been made to them, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to contact the Participant but the Promoter does not accept responsibility for any inability for whatever reason it is unable to make contact with the Participant.
26.This Competition is subject to the laws of England and Wales and the jurisdiction of the English courts.
